Education, Not Medical Advice.
Information provided on doorcountycannabis.co is for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this website is intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of a physician, pharmacist, veterinarian, or other appropriately qualified professional regarding questions about your health, medications, medical conditions, or the use of cannabinoid products.
Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on this website.
02
FDA Status
Our Products Are Not Intended to Treat Disease.
Except for specific prescription drug products approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, consumer CBD and THC products generally have not been approved by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease.
Door County Cannabis Co. products are not marketed or intended as substitutes for FDA-approved medical treatment.
Statements made on this website regarding hemp, cannabinoids, product characteristics, or consumer experiences should not be interpreted as claims that a product will produce a particular medical or therapeutic result.
03
Individual Response
Effects Can Vary.
Cannabinoids can affect people differently. An individual's response may depend on the product, serving amount, tolerance, metabolism, body composition, food intake, medications, health conditions, and other factors.
Information about serving size or product use is general product information and should not be interpreted as an individualized medical recommendation.
04
Medications + Health Conditions
Talk With Your Healthcare Professional.
CBD and other cannabinoids may interact with medications and may not be appropriate for every person.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using a cannabinoid product if you take prescription or over-the-counter medications, have an underlying health condition, are preparing for surgery, or otherwise have questions about whether a product is appropriate for you.
05
Pregnancy + Breastfeeding
Do Not Use During Pregnancy or Breastfeeding.
The FDA strongly advises against the use of CBD, THC, marijuana, and cannabis-derived products during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, speak with your healthcare professional before using any cannabinoid product.
06
THC + Impairment
THC Products Can Be Intoxicating.
Products containing Delta-8 THC, Delta-9 THC, or other intoxicating cannabinoids can impair judgment, coordination, reaction time, and perception.
Do not drive, operate machinery, or perform activities requiring unimpaired coordination or judgment while under the influence of an intoxicating cannabinoid product.
Do not combine intoxicating cannabinoid products with alcohol or other substances when doing so could increase impairment or risk.
07
Drug Testing
Cannabinoid Use May Affect a Drug Test.
Products containing THC may result in a positive drug test. This may include full-spectrum CBD products containing naturally occurring trace amounts of THC.
If you are subject to workplace, athletic, military, legal, or other drug testing, you should consider that risk before using cannabinoid products.
Door County Cannabis Co. does not represent that any cannabinoid product is guaranteed to be “drug-test safe.”
08
Safe Storage
Keep Products Away From Children and Pets.
Store all cannabinoid products securely and out of the reach of children and animals.
Gummies and other edible cannabinoid products may resemble ordinary food or candy and should be stored with particular care.
If a child or animal accidentally consumes a cannabinoid product, promptly seek appropriate medical or veterinary assistance.
09
Laws + Regulations
Hemp Laws Are Changing.
Laws governing hemp, CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids vary by jurisdiction and can change.
Congress enacted changes to the federal definition of hemp that are scheduled to take effect November 12, 2026. Those changes affect which hemp-derived cannabinoid products can continue to qualify as hemp under federal law.
State and local laws may impose requirements or restrictions beyond federal law. Product availability, sale, possession, shipment, and use may therefore vary by location.
Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with laws applicable to their purchase, possession, and use of our products.
