01
Secure Checkout
Payments Are Processed Through Square.
Door County Cannabis Co. uses Square to process eligible online payments.
When you enter payment information during checkout, that payment is processed through Square's payment infrastructure rather than being manually handled by our team.
Available payment methods may vary depending on your order, location, card issuer, payment processor requirements, and the products being purchased.
02
Payment Data
Your Full Card Number Is Not Shown to Us.
Square uses encryption and other security controls to protect payment information during processing.
Square states that unencrypted payment data does not touch the seller's device or application and that full credit card numbers are not displayed to Square sellers.
Door County Cannabis Co. does not need or ask customers to send full credit card numbers by email, text message, or social media.
03
Payment Standards
Square Maintains PCI DSS Compliance.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, commonly called PCI DSS, establishes security requirements for organizations that handle payment card information.
Square states that its card-processing systems meet Level 1 PCI Data Security Standards and that Square manages PCI compliance for sellers using Square for the storage, processing, and transmission of payment card data.
04
Encryption
Payment Information Is Protected in Transit.
Square uses industry-standard cryptographic protocols and security measures to protect payment information as it moves through its processing environment.
Our website also uses HTTPS so information exchanged between your browser and the website is transmitted over an encrypted connection.
You can confirm that you are on our website by checking that your browser shows a secure connection to doorcountycannabis.co before submitting an order.
05
Fraud Prevention
Transactions May Be Reviewed for Fraud.
Square uses automated systems and other fraud-prevention tools to evaluate transactions and identify suspicious payment activity.
A transaction may be declined, delayed, canceled, or require additional verification when the payment processor, card issuer, or Door County Cannabis Co. identifies a potential security, fraud, compliance, or authorization concern.
A declined transaction does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your account. Your financial institution may have additional information about a declined card.
06
Customer Information
We Use Order Information to Fulfill Your Purchase.
Completing an order generally requires information such as your name, billing information, shipping address, email address, telephone number, purchased items, and transaction details.
We use information associated with your order for purposes such as payment processing, order fulfillment, delivery, customer service, accounting, fraud prevention, compliance, and other legitimate business purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
Read Our Privacy Policy07
Saved Payment Methods
Payment Features May Be Provided by Square.
If a checkout option allows you to save or reuse a payment method, that functionality may be provided by Square or another payment service rather than Door County Cannabis Co. directly.
Those services may process information under their own privacy, security, and payment terms.
08
Protect Yourself
Never Send Us Your Full Card Number.
Door County Cannabis Co. will not ask you to email, text, or send us your complete credit card number, card security code, online banking password, or other sensitive login credentials.
If you receive a message claiming to be from Door County Cannabis Co. that asks for this information, do not provide it. Contact us directly using the information on our website.
09
Online Security
No Online System Is Risk-Free.
We and our service providers use reasonable security measures designed to protect information and payment transactions.
However, no website, payment network, internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure in every circumstance.
Customers should also take reasonable precautions, including protecting account credentials, keeping devices updated, and avoiding payment activity over networks or devices they do not trust.
